Bench Maji is located in the remote highlands of southwestern Ethiopia and is one of the original discovery sites of the Geisha (Gesha) variety. Geisha is a rare variety selected from wild plants in the local forests, sharing similar lineage with Panama Geisha but retaining more of its native wildness and delicate floral aromas. This washed lot is renowned for its jasmine and bergamot notes, earning it the title of "Queen of Jasmine Fragrance." The high altitude combined with meticulous washed processing ensures each coffee cherry achieves ultimate cleanliness and tea-like layers, like a premium jasmine fruit tea that amazes from the first sip.
