Colombia Huila Finca Don Juan Geisha Honey Process
Panama isn't the only place for top-tier Geisha.
From the Don Juan estate in Huila, Colombia, at an altitude of over 1,700 meters, this Geisha is processed using the honey method to lock its floral notes within the fruit sugars. It doesn't taste as clean as a washed process; instead, it offers the sweetness of tropical fruits wrapped in honey.
In a nutshell:
The palate starts with the tropical sweetness of mango and brown sugar, transitions into Geisha’s signature jasmine floral notes, and finishes with a long-lasting sweetness of honey and caramel. The body is fuller than a washed process, making it very approachable.
