Nova Estate "Red Champagne" Natural A1
This "Red Champagne" coffee isn't actually made with wine; rather, it describes its rich, mellow flavor, reminiscent of red wine, and its bright, elegant notes, like champagne. Produced in the high-altitude mountains of Rwanda's Northern Province and meticulously processed by the renowned Nova Estate, it offers a complex, layered purple fruit profile.
📋 Coffee Flavor Profile
- Flavor Notes: Purple grape, tropical fruits, bright acidity, lingering sweetness, red wine-like finish
- Roast Level: Light-Medium Roast (to preserve fruit notes)
- Mouthfeel Characteristics: Lively and clean acidity, with excellent sweetness and body thanks to the natural process.
💡 Brewing Suggestions
Due to this bean's high density (846g/L) and high altitude, resulting in a very solid structure, we recommend:
- Water Temperature: Use a higher water temperature (approx. 90°C - 92°C) to bring out the deep purple fruit aromas.
- Grind Size: Medium grind (similar to granulated sugar).
- Coffee-to-Water Ratio: We recommend 1:15 to best highlight its prominent sweetness.
✨ Estate Story

This "Red Champagne" is the estate's signature creation, carefully selected from fully ripe red coffee cherries and naturally dried to ensure every bean is packed with sweetness.
